"Perfect example of a 'cute' Pilar cyst," celebrity dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee-aka Dr. Pimple Popper-says in the caption of her latest Instagram video.
In it, the TLC star extracts a cyst from just above a patient's hairline. She makes an incision, and then, with just a little squeezing, the cyst pops out looking like a perfectly-round grape. Ta-da! Other viewers compared the cyst to a small reptile egg, a garbanzo bean, a clove of garlic, and even a toe. Personally, I'm still going with grape.

What is a pilar cyst?
If you're a fan of Dr. Pimple Popper's content, you've probably seen her deal with pilar cysts before-like in this Easter-themed montage of egg-shaped extractions .
A pilar cyst-also known as a trichilemmal cyst, an isthmus-catagen cyst, or a "wen"-forms around a hair follicle, which is why they're typically found on the scalp, according to Medical News Today . They're usually harmless, but they tend to grow slowly, meaning many people don't realize they have 'em until they're quite large.
Pilar cysts affect somewhere between 5 and 10 percent of the population.
