<ul><li>Qatar and France announced they brokered a deal between Israel and Hamas to deliver medicine.&nbsp;</li><li>Hostages will receive medicine while more aid will be allowed into the besieged Gaza strip, Qatar says.&nbsp;</li><li>It is unclear how these supplies will be delivered and distributed.</li></ul>

According to a post on X from the <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://x.com/MofaQatar_EN/status/1747336776694333803?s=20">Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs</a>, which helped broker the deal along with France, "medicine along with other humanitarian aid is to be delivered to civilians in the Gaza Strip, in the most affected and vulnerable areas, in exchange for delivering medication needed for Israeli captives in Gaza."

The medications will be transported from Qatar to Egypt on Wednesday to prepare for transport into the Gaza Strip, per Qatar's MFA.

Other details about the deal — including how medicine will be distributed — have not been made publicly available, but an official who <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/16/middleeast/gaza-hostages-medicine-deal-qatar-intl/index.html?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=threadsCNN&amp;utm_content=2024-01-17T00:49:28">spoke with CNN</a> said that the medicine will be passed along to 40 hostages that Israel believes are in need.

The official familiar with the negotiations also said Hamas agreed to the deal because of the opportunity to allow more humanitarian assistance into Gaza.

On October 7, an attack in Israel by Hamas killed around 1,200 people, and roughly 240 were taken hostage. Some hostages have been released, while others have been killed (including by IDF forces). So far, the Israeli government estimates that just over a <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/family-members-blast-words-support-hostages-israel-gaza-border-rcna133470">hundred</a> remain alive in captivity by Hamas in Gaza. The families of said hostages have repeatedly demanded that medical aid be provided to their loved ones.

"After 98 days in Hamas tunnels, all hostages face immediate mortal danger and need life-saving medicines," The Hostages and Missing Families Forum said in a <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israel-makes-deal-with-qatar-get-medicine-hostages-gaza-israeli-pms-office-2024-01-12/">statement to Reuters</a>. "In addition to medicines, the hostages require also extensive medical treatment."

Meanwhile, in Gaza, reports of <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/16/middleeast/gaza-famine-starvation-un-israel-war-intl-hnk/index.html">starvation</a> and lack of medical access grow. <a href="https://www.btselem.org/gaza_strip/20240108_israel_is_starving_gaza">Human rights groups</a> and <a href="https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2024/01/over-one-hundred-days-war-israel-destroying-gazas-food-system-and">UN experts</a> say that Israel is withholding food and medical aid during the conflict.

More than 24,000 Palestinians have been killed in 100 days of bombardment on the densely populated strip, according to Gaza health officials.

Israel has allowed limited aid — food, water, medicine — into<a href="https://www.axios.com/2023/12/01/gaza-aid-hamas-israel-limit-ceasefire-collapse">Gaza, according to Axios,</a> after the collapse of the earlier cease-fire, and the UN has warned that famine is quickly approaching in <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/16/middleeast/gaza-famine-starvation-un-israel-war-intl-hnk">the region.</a> Resources in the enclave were already short, given the blockade imposed by Egypt and Israel since 2007.

It is unclear how the new shipment of aid will be distributed to all the people of Gaza, as the <a href="https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2024/01/over-one-hundred-days-war-israel-destroying-gazas-food-system-and">UN estimates</a> that only 21% of planned aid has reached northern Gaza.

The last time Qatar brokered a deal between Israeli officials and Hamas was in November. <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/israel-hostage-deal-major-diplomatic-breakthrough-gaza-war-2023-11">The deal</a> allowed a four-day cease-fire and the release of 150 Palestinians detained by Israel in exchange for 50 Israelis in Hamas captivity. The cease-fire ultimately lasted six days, and more than 100 hostages, including foreign nationals released through separate deals, were released.

Cannon spent Christmas with <a href="https://www.insider.com/bre-tiesi-nick-cannon-relationship-timeline-son-quotes-2023-7">Bre Tiesi</a> and their son Legendary Love, born in June 2022, while donning a Santa outfit. The trio <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C1Sx_LHP_mo/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">posted photos</a> in matching flannel pajamas on Christmas.

Tiesi showed up multiple times on Cannon's Instagram this season — including for a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/C05W6jcR7Bg/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">trip to Universal Studios</a> — leaving fans to speculate that she was the "favorite" among <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C1KxE7eyiro/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">all his baby mothers</a>.

Tiesi, a real estate agent and reality star on <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/selling-sunset-los-angeles-mansion-tax-millionaires-housing-crisis-2023-11">"Selling Sunset,"</a> also gifted Cannon a <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/nick-cannon-kids-bre-tiesi-christmas-game-legendary-love-2023-12">"Cannonopoly" board game</a> — based on the popular Monopoly game — that featured all 12 of his kids.

Tiesi showed off the board game on her Instagram story on Sunday.

<h2>Brittany Bell and her kids also got to spend lots of time with Cannon</h2>

Cannon also took family photos with model Brittany Bell and their three children, Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah.

A post with the simple caption "Merry Christmas" shows the five all wearing <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C1RuqufrNUd/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">matching green pajamas</a>. Earlier in December, Cannon also posted a photo shoot with the family <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C0SqAV1RDe6/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">sporting all-gold outfits</a>.

Cannon was also present for Powerful Queen's Barbie-themed birthday party in <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C0_mSAMrmLV/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">mid-December</a>. The daughter was born in December of 2020.

<h2>Twins Zillion and Zion got to meet the Grinch</h2>

Cannon <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1RHDwSL-4N/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">posted a video</a> of twins Zillion and Zion hanging out with their dad and meeting a person dressed up in a Grinch costume. Per the Instagram caption, the kids "rolled up on the Grinch with no fear."

He also shared a family photo with the twins, along with his daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, and their mother, DJ and radio personality Abby De La Rosa.

"The best gifts around any Christmas tree is the presence of family; Merry Christmas from my family to yours" De La Rosa wrote in a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1PgmGfpPYS/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">joint Instagram post</a> set to Brandy's "Deck the Halls."

<h2>Cannon paid tribute to his late son by spreading some holiday cheer at a Children's hospital</h2>

Cannon's son Zen, who he shares with model Alyssa Scott, <a href="https://www.insider.com/nick-cannon-youngest-child-zen-dies-of-brain-cancer-2021-12">died at 5 months old</a> from brain cancer on December 5, 2021. His death inspired Cannon to start a foundation dedicated to pediatric healthcare.

A few days before Christmas, Cannon posted a video from the Children's Hospital of Orange County, where he is seen passing out presents to cancer patients while dressed as Santa.

<h2>Onyx Ice's mom did not pose for the camera</h2>

Cannon shared a quick post of him dressed up as Santa for his <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C1PzBJQv_4Z/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">daughter,</a>Onyx Ice, but the mother model LaNisha Cole was not present for the photo.

"Merry Christmas from Onyx Ice and I," the caption read.

Cannon previously revealed last year that <a href="https://www.insider.com/nick-cannon-kids-probably-spends-most-time-with-daughter-onyx-2023-5">Onyx</a> was probably the kid he spends the most time with, saying that Cole and him get an equal amount of time with the 1-year-old.

<h2>Who didn't show up on Cannon's Instagram?</h2>

It's unclear if Monroe and Moroccan, Cannon's two children with singer <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/bryan-tanaka-confirms-split-with-mariah-carey-day-after-christmas-2023-12">Mariah Carey</a>, spent time with Cannon around Christmas, but they spent the holidays with their mom, per Instagram photos. They even accompanied Carey on a trip to the White House to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C1F6LCvIy9n/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==">meet with President Joe Biden</a>.

Although the pair, the oldest of all of Cannon's children, did not show up on his Instagram in December, the two are often featured on <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@nickcannon/video/7294774130484809003">his social media</a>.
