<h1>An eyewitness who was present at the accident which caused Ebony’s death has given a chilly account of how the crush led to the artists demise.</h1>

The eyewitness identified as Ken Yeboah told Kumasi-based Ultimate FM that there was a collision between a VIP bus and the Jeep which was occupied by <a href="http://www.pulse.com.gh/search/?q=ebony" id="ec5b6b3e-2d52-556b-8a9a-b6fa39030810">Ebony</a> and some friends.

He said that the accident occurred at Nyamebekyere near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South, a district in the Ashanti Region on Thursday (February 8, 2018) at about 11 PM.

Ken Yeboah added that a military officer and a young girl also died in the ghastly accident involving the black Jeep car of the musician.

“No one in the bus was dead or injured but occupants of the Jeep vehicle were hurt. The passengers told us the accident involved another car and that a soldier and a small girl were trapped in the vehicle. We called fire service from Bechem and when they came they were incapacitated so they relied on their colleagues in Sunyani who managed to open the mangled vehicle before they could retrieve the bodies. I saw her she was the Ebony we know.”

The District commander for Mankraso Superintendent John Adusei, in the Ashanti Region, confirmed the development to Accra-based Joy FM.

“My officers went there and identified the bodies of 3 persons (2 females and a male), including Ebony. was on board a jeep with registration number AS 487-13.”

“The driver of the jeep is currently unconscious at the hospital. According to some of the passengers on board the VIP, the driver of Ebony’s vehicle veered off the road and crashed into the VIP bus,” he added.

He said that the bodies of the deceased “have been deposited at the Mankraso morgue.”

The eyewitness identified as Ken Yeboah said that there was a collision between a VIP bus and the Jeep which was occupied by Ebony and some friends.

<h1>The Ofankor District Police Command has arrested a 38-year-old man for locking up his wife and 12-year-old son in a hen coop for a year.</h1>

The 38-year-old man, Vincent Antwi, who is a resident of Kasoa in the Central told the police he locked them up because he suspected his wife had a mental problem hence his action.

The Ofankor District Police Commander, ASP Christopher Darke told Accra-based Kasapa FM, that the suspect had constructed a fairly nice house where he sleeps but locks his wife and 12-year-old son in a hen coop.

ASP Darke said this situation shocked him to the bone.

The suspect is said to feed his wife and son raw gari every week in the hen coop he had prepared for them.

The treatment meted out to the victims has left both the woman and child psychologically and physically affected.

After they were released from the hen coop, the woman is cannot talk and walk, while the 12-year-old boy has been trapped in the body of a four-year-old, as he’s unable to grow.

ASP Darke said the victims have been sent to the Police Hospital for medical attention, while the suspect is in the grips of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Police Service to assist in investigations.

The 38-year-old man, Vincent Antwi, who is a resident of Kasoa in the Central said he locked his wife and son up because he suspected his wife had a mental problem hence his action.

Manage the number of people who depend on you. I agree sometimes you cannot determine the number of people who depend on you but you can decide the amount you give them.

You can also encourage to engage in small businesses in order to reduce the financial burden on you.

• Low minimum wage

The current minimum wage in Ghana is currently GHC 8.80. In January 2018, it will be <a href="http://www.pulse.com.gh/news/ghanaian-worker-daily-minimum-wage-increased-by-10-id6980575.html" id="c50b1460-048c-50cc-8671-8776fc5de16f">increased</a> to GHC 9.68.

Currently, the minimum wage for each month is GHC 264, from January 2018 the minimum wage will be GHC 290

<h1>The Tamale police is looking for a group of attackers suspected to have strangled to death a 12-year-old Nigerian girl after gang raping her on Tuesday at Ggblo-Kpalsi in the Northern Region.</h1>

The police narrated that the victim was on her way to her parents’ store after closing from school when the incident occurred.

The residents in the area heard the noise and called the police thinking it was a robbery incident.

“The information first came as a robbery incident so police quickly dispatched a team to Ggblo Kpalsi. Police arrived at the scene timeously and we met some eye witnesses at the said suburb of Tamale but it turned out to be a homicide scene; because a 12-year-old girl was gang raped and later strangled to death,” ASP Tetteh said.

A colourful scarf was found tightly clutched around her neck and it is suspected the object was used in the murder.

The body was taken to the Tamale Teaching Hospital where she was pronounced dead and a quick postmortem checks revealed stains of blood and semen on the private part of the victim.

Samples of the exhibits were taken by investigators who have begun a full-scale probe into the mysterious incident.

The police say they suspect a contract killing or the attackers killed the victim to conceal their identity and crime after realising they may be exposed.

“So far we have not arrested any suspect but we are suspecting that is either a contract killing or the parents of this particular young lady might had problems with somebody and the person wanted to extend their anger on this young innocent girl or the third scenario could be that during the act she might have identified some of these suspects and just to cover up they decided to strangle her to death,” ASP Tetteh suggested.

The outgoing Public Relations Officer of the Northern Regional Police Command ASP Ebenezer Tetteh said the attackers caught the Nigerian girl and took her to an abandoned structure where they committed the atrocity and fled.
