Kenneth fell short of stating that his likely choice was Nairobi County after saying that the incumbent, Evans Kidero, had failed in his duties as governor.

Speaking at a church service in Aipca church Dandora, Kenneth said that the way he had seen Nairobi being run, anyone could do better than Kidero.
“Kidero is my friend, but he has failed Nairobians. We will seat down and in a week’s time make an informed decision on which seat to go for,” Kenneth said.
Kenneth also took the opportunity to re-affirm his decision to back President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto during next year’s general elections.
Kenneth who ran for the presidency in 2013, confirmed last month that he will this time round shelve his presidential ambitions and instead support Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid.
Kenneth’s likely entry into Nairobi politics will prove a headache for the Jubilee Party which already has a crowded field of candidates seeking to be elected on a Jubilee Party ticket.
They include Senator Mike Sonko, Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru, Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja, former Starehe MP Margaret Wanjiru and Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.
