NASA strategist reveals what will happen if Raila loses at the Supreme Court

Ndii's statement has sparked heated debate among Kenyans.

NASA head of strategy David Ndii has controversially stated that the coalition will go for mass action if the election petition at the Supreme Court does not go their way.

Speaking during an interview on NTV with Larry Madowo, Ndii said that they will head to the streets in a bid to reject dictatorship.

“We will call for mass action. That is a definite.  We have been calling for mass action since 1991 and we will not stop as long as some people try to restore dictatorship,” he stated.

"Protestors do not kill, they only resist oppression. It is the police who shoot and kill when protesters resist,” Ndii added.

The strategist further disclosed that in societies where avenues of legitimate political dissent are closed, inevitably ends with people taking up arms.

“If change cannot come through the ballot, it will come through the bullet," he controversially stated.

Ndii argued that NASA heading to the Supreme Court is not necessarily to win the case but to show to the world what happened during the electoral process.

NASA in a 25,000 election petition, asked the Supreme Court to nullify the presidential election and ordered a fresh one citing massive irregularities and a flawed electoral process which handed President Kenyatta the win over Raila Odinga.
