President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Wednesday morning heckled in Wote Town, Makueni County as he took Jubilee campaigns in the Lower Eastern region which is perceived to be a NASA stronghold.
Kenyatta was forced to cut short his speech as they rowdy crowd chanted pro-NASA slogans.
Kenyatta was accompanied by Deputy President William Ruto and local leaders.
State House Director of digital media and diaspora, Dennis Itumbi said that supporters of NASA running mate Kalonzo Musyoka heckled the President while shouting "Harambee....Nasa!".

Itumbi said the NASA supporters were strategically mobilised on terraces during Kenyatta's tour of the county.
