Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has rejected election results saying they are a fraud.
At about 1 pm on Wednesday, Jubilee candidate Mike Sonko was leading with 812, 355 (53.4 per cent) votes against his 653258 representing a 42.95 per cent.
"We urge Nairobians to remain calm and await the final decision. What has happened is so glaring," he told a media briefing on Wednesday.
He said he wants a fresh tally.
Meanwhile, in the Senate race, Jubilee's Johson Sakaja is leading with 789,674 votes against ODM's Edwine Sifuna who has 658,319 votes.
ODM's Esther Pasaris has 819,317 votes, and so far she is a head of Jubilee's Rachael Shebesh who has 661,625 votes.
