Singer Eddy Kenzo hospitalized days after failing to travel to London

The father of two, who also is a partner to singer Rema Namakula, posted on social media a photo of him looking weak and lying on a hospital bed with a cannula on his hand indicating that he was on a drip.
“I will be fine in God's name..., I managed to go n watch vipers vs sc villa in Kitende, bless you all,” shared Eddy Kenzo.
Despite, giving an update on his health, Kenzo did not reveal what he was ailing him.

This comes hours after his management issued an apology after Eddy Kenzo failed to perform at the One Africa Music Fest in London.

“It is with deepest regret that we must announce the unfortunate failure of Eddy Kenzo’s performance at that One Africa Music Fest. This email therefore serves to inform you that due to Eddy Kenzo’s sudden illness, and by the doctor’s advise, he isn’t able to travel to London in time for the show. We however remain committed to the One Africa Music Fest organisers and community – offering our assistance and support for the upcoming events in NewYork and Dubai. We therefore humbly request the Ugandan flag to still be raised despite our absence.Again, we are deeply sorry about not being able to commit to our initial agreement and any unfulfilled expectations that this may cause due to force majue, Weh hope to see you in NewYork and Dubai.” reads The Statement from Eddy Kenzo's management
