The witty comedian who now is at Milele FM together with Mwakideu narrated to a local TV station that despite him leaving, his bond with Mwakideu remained intact.
He went on to state that money was the only reason that he left as he felt he wanted to go somewhere where he was needed but not loved.

“What happened is when I left Maisha and he stayed there we only left the Maisha we did not leave the friendship. So I think if there is one person I hang out with is still Alex even when we were apart and guys kept on asking now you guys why are you lying to us that you are not together anymore you need to get yourselves back here. But anyway my reason for leaving Alex was very very simple. It was money. So I went somewhere where I was needed not where I was loved,” he stated.
The two who are considered as the best radio host duo hosted Maisha Asubui at Radio Maisha before the comedian went to Hot 96 where he hosted Breakfast Show with Jeff Koinange for almost two years.
Mwakideu later called it quits at Radio Maisha after eight years to join Jalang’o at Milele FM.
