Facebook comes to Betty Kyallo's rescue

After sending an appeal to Facebook, action has been taken

The Fake Facebook page that was impersonating KTN’s news anchor Betty Kyallo has been pulled down by the Facebook administration.

Through his genuine Social Media accounts, Betty confirmed to her followers and fans that the fake account has been deactivated.

The page had a huge following on Facebook and it was known for posting nasty comments about Betty Kyallo and sharing a lot of links.

“Finally the fake Facebook account that has been impersonating me to the point it had 362,000 followers has been deactivated. You can now follow this legitimate page for continued proper interactions. I only have 2 pages Betty Mutei Kyallo and this fan page. Thank you and please share this update “revealed Betty Kyallo.

Early on Betty had asked her fans to help her report the Fake Facebook page for impersonating and misleading her

fans.

Facebook started a crackdown on fake personalities on Facebook as a way of minimizing impersonation of other people.

Famous people in the society have always faced impersonation issues has people tend to use their famous names for their own malicious benefits.
