We are about to see a battle for supremacy on social media between Betty Kyallo, Jeff Koinange, Adelle Onyango and Amina Abdi in one of the biggest awards in Kenya, The SOMA awards.
The Kenya Social Media Awards, SOMA was set up four years ago to fête the best social media personalities in Kenya back in and this year is slated to be the biggest yet.
So far some of the nominees like Jaymo Ule Msee, Caroline Mutoko, Capital FM: Hits Not Home Work have won in the previous years so it should be interesting to watch and see if they will bag it again.
Unlike some award shows SOMA values the voice of the people, so its the common mwananchi who get to nominate and vote in their best candidate.
