The lady accused of conning the Comedian has spoken giving her side of the story

Owago took to his Facebook account to share a photo of a lady alleging that she conned him in line of business.

“Kindly be careful in case you get a call from this number 07240783**.This lady is a thief she corned me 70k. She is a bad example for all Okuyu ladies saitan. ”

His followers joined the discussion to try and understand what transpired before the money went missing.

One curious social media user asked “how did u get to being conned that amount ama ni kwa sababu ya SEHEMU NYETI?”

The comedian replied saying he never suspected that lady was a con and went ahead to send her the money.

“That she good thief didn’t suspect.. was buying some speakers.” Explained Owago.

Asked if he knew the met with the lady before sending her money, Onyiro confessed that he had met with the lady before sending the money.

However, the girl who has been accused of conning the comedian has spoken  giving her side of the story.

According to the lady identified has Maureen Wairimu , they are in the same social media Group called "China Town" where the comedian had claimed to have slept with one of her friends and when they confronted him to give evidence, he failed.

"After the argument, everything was calm until evening when a friend of mine called me up telling me to check out  on Owago's page.  I saw my post there, so I was waiting for him to upload the M-Pesa statement, as proof that i conned him. I don't have a bank account so the only thing he can send mi money is through Mpesa. I have not be in town for about 3 months since i closed school because I am a student at Nairobi University. I have never done business with Owago, or even met with him."narrates the Lady in an Audio PulseLive had access to.

She added that Owago just want to spoil her name because he is a celebrity.

Owago has already deleted his [post from Facebook.
