Ruth matete weds in a private

Former Tusker Project Fame (TPF) contestant, Ruth Matete, got married to the love of her life, John Apewajoye in a colorful ceremony that was attended by close friends and family.

The news of their wedding was made public by Urban News who shared the video on their Instagram page.

Last year, Ruth got engaged to Nigerian contemporary gospel music minister and worship leader John, after a bitter break up with former Tahidi high actor, Prince Tsyder.

Her dad, Abel Amunga walked her down the aisle on the big day.

In a previous interview, the singer had mentioned how life after Tusker Project Fame was a disaster for her.

’After TPF life went downhill. I was not born a star, I got into this not knowing that not everybody will like me. Things were not working out for me, I lost a relationship that I thought ‘this is it’. I kept getting into relationships that were not working and I kept hoping that God would see the desire in my heart for me to get married. I hoped that God would bring me a man who would stay, someone who would understand my vision and he has finally answered my prayers as I am getting married this year,” Matete said at the time.

We are happy that her wish came true.
