Music producer wants Buhari to resign from office

To end the suffering of the masses, the record producer thinks President Muhammadu Buhari should quit his position.

Record producer, Samklef drifted from his music main stay into the political side when he insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari should resign from office for a better Nigeria.

The renowned beat maker made his thoughts known in a Twitter comment he posted yesterday.

This was his reaction to the suspension of Babachir Lawal, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Ayo Oke, the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).

The pair are to be investigated by a three-man committee headed by Vice-President Yemi Osibanjo on suspicion of mismanagement of funds and money laundering respectively.

Giving his comment on the matter via Twitter, Samklef wrote: "My opinion! i think president Buhari needs to suspend himself by resigning to save us all."

Buhari's hard stance against corruption, though noble has seen more criticism than commendation from the masses who feel that his government has led to an economic meltdown.

Most have been very quick to draw comparison with his tenure as president and the regime of former Nigerian head of state, Goodluck Jonathan.

The conclusion has been that the latter's government saw more prosperity than his.
