The comedian had a few years of bad lack after leaving Churchill to start her new show on Citizen TV. Her show at Citizen TV was launched at the same time Anne Kansiime debuted hers so expectations were high.

Unfortunately, her show flopped rather badly and was quickly scrapped off after only one episode despite the hype it had generated.

After the premature death of her show, word on the street was that Teacher Wanjiku had tried negotiating a return to Churchill but things didn’t go as planned. This is because Teacher Wanjiku allegedly failed to agree with the terms Churchill gave her.

However despite her setback, Teacher Wanjiku has risen from the ashes to once again become one of the most bankable female comedians of our time.

Teacher Wanjiku has now cleared the air by stating that she is not back on the show but will be making appearances when she gets invited.

“I love the fact that I got to make a home on Churchill show and Churchill always has a place for me. I appreciate the respect we both have for each other and the support he shows me even after launching my solo career is great. I never take Churchill Show for granted,” she revealed on Parents Magazine
