Popular comedian Teacher Wanjiku has been appointed as the new brand ambassador for DADA (Dare to Aspire Dare to Achieve) by Stanbic Bank.

DADA is a new initiative by the bank that provides women with financial and non-financial solutions like education, networking opportunities that will empower and grow them.

“Am happy To Announce Am the New Brand Ambassador for ‘Dada’ by Stanbic Bank. My New home. Excited about This New Journey,” Wanjiku wrote.

Apart from bagging the ambassadorial job, Teacher Wanjiku will also be fêted in the USA on July 6th 2019 for being “The Most Influential Woman in Her Time’.

“Yassssssss! Dear Fans I want to thank you for walking with me on this journey,I will be receiving this prestigious Award in Seattle Washington. I will Also be Crowning Miss Kenya USA Winner, I am humbled.Thank you God,” Wanjiku announced.

Comeback

This new job and award in the USA are just some of the few good things that have been happening to Teacher Wanjiku following her comeback after her career took a hit .

The comedian had a few years of bad lack after leaving Churchill to start her new show on Citizen TV. Her show at Citizen TV was launched at the same time Anne Kansiime debuted hers so expectations were high.

Unfortunately, her show flopped rather badly and was quickly scrapped off after only one episode despite the hype it had generated.

After the premature death of her show, word on the street was that Teacher Wanjiku had tried negotiating a return to Churchill but things didn’t go as planned. This is because Teacher Wanjiku allegedly failed to agree with the terms Churchill gave her.

However despite her setback, Teacher Wanjiku has risen from the ashes to once again become one of the most bankable female comedians of our time.

In addition, in January 2019 Teacher Wanjiku finally came back to the show that first gave her audience, Churchill Show. Her comeback to the stage had people wondering if she is back to the show. Teacher Wanjiku has now cleared the air by stating that she is not back on the show but will be making appearances when she gets invited.

“I love the fact that I got to make a home on Churchill show and Churchill always has a place for me. I appreciate the respect we both have for each other and the support he shows me even after launching my solo career is great. I never take Churchill Show for granted,” she revealed on Parents Magazine
