Chuka University student commits suicide and leaves his blood to haunt ex-lover (Photos)
He said the blood he left behind was necessary for his spirit to come back
The second-year student allegedly took his own life after a love affair went south.
Meru South OCPD Saiya Baraza said the Computer Science student left a six-page suicide note that pointed to a relationship gone sour.

“There is this one time I caught Njeri with a man inside her room and when I tried to ask her about it she told me she had moved on and I could go ahead and hang myself if I wished to,” the note reads.
He was apparently referring to a lady by the name Stella Njeri Kagendo. The blood-stained note revealed that this was not his first suicide attempt.

“The blood is necessary for my spirit to come back….not sure but probably. Pleaase Stella must see these letters… Please, till we meet again my love,” the letter concludes.
Mugendi’s body has been moved to Chuka County Referral Hospital mortuary awaiting a postmortem.

Stabbing incident
In another incident at the same university, a student was stabbed by her landlord after she allegedly plucked mangoes from a tree in his compound.
Confirming the incident, Meru South OCPD Baraza Saiya said that another student also sustained minor cuts after he attempted to rescue the girl from the scuffle.
Mr. Saiya also said that the landlord was later stabbed by irate students from the university in a revenge attack.
