Nurse fired from her job at hospital for being ‘Too Hot’
Her bosses said she wears overly sexy uniforms to work.
Parichat ‘Pang’ Chatsri, 26, is a nurse working at a private hospital in the Isan region of north-eastern Thailand. But while other nurses have supposedly decent uniforms, Chatsri wears short skirts that her bosses claim to distract the patients.
Support
The 26-year-old nurse has plenty of fans on social media but her bosses weren’t happy about it, saying that she was too provocative to be a nurse. In conservative Thailand, that was surely a big issue.
She was asked to explain her actions to the hospital board but seeing that her ‘provocative’ outfits and sexy poses threw her profession in a bad light, she offered to resign and issue a public apology not just to the hospital but also to the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Resign
‘’I explained to the board at the hospital but they have high regards for the hospital’s image. I understood them, and I didnt want it to be a big deal. So I took responsibility by resigning.’’
Many of her fans believe that she was unfairly fired by the hospital, though, and advised her to seek legal help in getting her job back.
