Embattled IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba has now been given 72 hours to willingly resign from his position, failure to which he will be evicted from his office.
NASA leaders on Friday stated that they would lead their supporters to remove Chiloba from his office at Anniversary Towers forcefully.
The threat of eviction came after both Chiloba and commission Chair indicated that the CEO would continue to head the team that will prepare the October 17 repeat polls.
The move has been widely criticized by Opposition politicians led by Raila Odinga.
Odinga’s demand for Chiloba to exit the polls commission received the backing of top ODM leaders led by Siaya Senator James Orengo and Alago Usonga MP Samuel Atandi.
"He has only two days from now to pack his belongings from that office," Atandi warned.
Siaya woman representative Christine Ombaka added that Chiloba should blame himself for “allowing Jubilee to use and dump him”.
"Chiloba will never be employed anywhere after Jubilee dumps him after October 17," Ombaka stated.
