Would you rock this Maasai beaded body accessory?

The mother of all accessories

One Kenyan ethnic jewelry designer, Patricia Mbela designs body accessories made from Maasai beads. While she has different designs, ranging from simple necklaces to more intricate accessories, the one that stands out the most is her body accessory, worn over the shoulders to drape the body.

You can wear the accessory over a figure hugging dress especially for a grand event such as a gala event. The beaded body accessory has been worn by celebrities such as Yemi Alade and locally by Amina Abdi, Muthoni Drummer Queen as well as Diana Opoti.

Maasai beaded accessories are colorful, beautiful and authentic and by wearing them, you're not only supporting local talent but also giving back to the society by creating employment to those who make them, mostly Maasai women.
