Peter Kenneth’s offer to Mike Sonko after losing Governor’s race

Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth has now offered incoming Governor Mike Sonko...

In a statement to the Press, Kenneth stated that he respected the will of the people in Nairobi and urged fellow Kenyans to maintain peace.

"I accept the results and congratulate the incoming governor Mike Sonko. I wish him Godspeed as he takes on the enormous task.

"The incoming governor has his work cut out and needs the support of each and every Nairobian to succeed. He can count on my support," Kenneth stated.

In the Nairobi gubernatorial seat, Sonko garnered 831539 votes to emerge victorious, incumbent Evans Kidero 665782 votes and Kenneth came a distant third with 41482 votes

Meanwhile, Kidero has already rejected the results which put Sonko ahead of him with a huge margin in the Governor's seat.
