Scene of early morning accident at Magina area along Nairobi-Nakuru Highway

Three people have been confirmed dead following an accident along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.

The accident is reported to have taken place at 6 a. m. on Monday morning at the Magina area.

A number of matatus are said to have collided resulting in a number of injured persons who have been rushed to the Kijabe Hospital.

3 family members die in Probox

A similar accident in the area in 2018 claimed the lives of three ladies form the same family who were traveling in a Probox.

Their vehicle lost control while overtaking and collided head-on with a 14-seater matatu that was Nairobi-bound at 8 p. m.

Some blame poor visibility at the area for the accidents coupled with reckless driving.
