Wetangula disappoints Nasa with latest decision

Nasa Co-Principal Moses Masika Wetangula will be defending his seat in the senate come August 8 2017.

According Ford Kenya Secretary Bungoma branch Peter Wakhuleka Wetangula has made the decision of defending his seat after realizing he has no one better than him in his backyard.

"It is a sealed deal. We are going to present his name to the IEBC as unopposed candidate." he said.

Wakhuleka was speaking during a meeting that had brought together Ford Kenya aspirants from Bungoma and Trans Nzoia on Sunday May 7, 2017.

Wetang'ula will relinquish his seat, in the event that the National Super Alliance forms the next government, to take the position of deputy prime minister.

On the other hand another Nasa Principal Isaac Ruto will also be defending his seat as the Governor of Bomet County come August 8, 2017.

The two were handed the positions of deputy Prime Minister under the government of Raila and Kalonzo on a condition that Nasa will win the general elections.

Recently wiper members have been lamenting that they were short changed in the Nasa deal, a thing that Kalonzo has defended.

NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga was on Friday officially endorsed by ODM as their presidential candidate during the party’s National Delegates’ Convention at the Safaricom Stadium Kasarani in Nairobi.

The official endorsement by ODM comes a week after the NASA Pentagon endorsed the former Prime Minister as their joint Opposition presidential candidate
