Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe on Wednesday visited embattle State House Digital Affairs Director, who was arrested in connection to a fake letter detailing an alleged assassination attempt on Deputy President William Ruto.

Maribe appeared to have been reciprocating Itumbi's gesture of standing with her during her own arrest and prosecution over the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.

She spent nearly a month in police custody, with the controversial blogger always by her side - even penning sweet poems on social media.

Apart from Maribe, Itumbi's close friends and family visited him at DCI headquarters along Kiambu Road.

His lawyer, Moses Chelanga, addressed the press outside DCI headquarters, saying his client would spend the night at Muthaiga Police Station ahead of being arraigned in court tomorrow.
