Cabinet Secretary without a portfolio and Jubilee party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has jetted back into the country from the UK where he had been flown for specialised treatment.

Nation reports that Tuju arrived into the country on Saturday, 07 March 2020 at around 5 AM aboard a Kenya Airways Flight.
On stand-by to receive the CS was a host of senior government officials led by Defence Cabinet Secretary Monicah Juma and his family.
A source who was part of the delegation that received Tuju confirmed to the publication the return of Tuju who was involved in a fatal accident on 12 February 2020.
“He was received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by government officials led by Defence Cabinet Secretary Monicah Juma, family members and friends at dawn on Saturday. Waziri was in high spirits”.
“He is okay and will be resuming his duties as a Cabinet secretary and Jubilee secretary-general in due course. He thanks Kenyans for their prayers and their overwhelming messages of goodwill,” added the source.
Tuju who was flown to the UK in a chartered air ambulance on 20 February 2020 was driven straight to his Karen home to rest.
The accident happened along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway near Kijabe as the CS was heading to former President Daniel arap Moi's burial in Kabarak, Nakuru County.
After receiving treatment at Kijabe Hospital, Tuju was airlifted to Karen Hospital in Nairobi where tremendous improvement in his health was noted.
He was flown out to the UK for further specialised treatment.
