Chemjor's car was involved in the accident as he drove along the Kabarnet-Eldoret highway.
His car rolled several times near the Kerio Valley Bridge after which it fell into the gorge.
The process of retrieving the body and the vehicle was halted last night due to darkness but has resumed on Thursday morning.

Chemjor's colleagues described him as a hard-working professional and a super TV producer.
Before his death, he was producing K24's popular political show, Punch Line.
UPDATE: Chemjor's body has been retrieved alongside his Toyota Premio vehicle. He was the sole occupant in the vehicle.
