Important announcement for 2017 KCSE students who scored above C+

Details of university placement

The Kenya University and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has now announced that all students who scored a C+ of 46 points and above will be sponsored by the government to join both public and private universities.

The announcement was made on Monday by KUCCPS CEO John Muraguri.

Students who qualify have been urged to undertake the second revision of degree courses by 30th January.

There was a huge drop in the number of KCSE students who met the C+ which is the minimum grade required to join University.

At the same time, KNEC CEO Prof George Mahoga on Wednesday announced a total of 1205 students across nine schools had their results cancelled after the extensive investigations.
