Mysterious Eye Witness ex-wife and former “girlfriend” speak out on his double life

Two women have now come out to reveal how Dennis Muigai Ngengi conned them into a relationship.

Two women have now come out to speak to the detectives on the double life of the mysterious eye-witness Dennis Muigai Ngengi who appeared on live TV claiming to have witnessed both the late Nyeri Governors accident and the Lake Nakuru accident.

Ngengi has since been arrested by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation for impersonating a police officer.

After fingerprint forensic analysis, police revealed Ngengi has eight previous convictions in all different names.

His former wife Damaris Karuitha, has now come out and told police that when he met him, Ngengi posed as a police officer attached to the Presidential Escort.

She confessed that Ngengi tricked her into marriage before she discovered he was a “pathological liar”.

According to the Nation, Karuitha told police that throughout the time they lived together, she believed the man was a member of the security team working for President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Another woman, a bar owner in Kenol, Murang'a, told detectives that Ngengi conned her into a relationship by pretending he was an influential State House operative.

Ngengi promised the businesswoman he could help her secure a contract with the government.

She revealed that Ngengi would frequent her bar where he would enjoy free beers.

He would later brag to the bar patrons that he was in direct contact through phone with the President himself.

He is currently detained at Migingo Prison in Kwale.

The mystery eye witness will be remanded until January 8, 2018 for impersonating a police officer.
