Huge inferno guts down Gikomba Market [Video&Photos]

Fire fighters from the Nairobi County have been dispatched to the scene of the early morning raging fire.

Fire fighters from Nairobi County were dispatched to the scene to contain the raging inferno.

Unconfirmed reports indicate several people have been injured in the early morning fire that started in the wee hours of Thursday morning.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established.

The popular city market has in the recent past experienced several mysterious fires that have led to traders experience loses running into million of shillings.

President Uhuru Kenyatta in October last last year ordered thorough investigations into the cause of the Gikomba Market fires after an inferno which the then Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri pointed to foul play according to preliminary reports.
