30 families left homeless after last night's fire

Sad incident

At least thirty families have been left homeless after a fire broke out in Kongoi area of Kuresoi North, Nakuru county.

The incident that happened on Monday night affected an entire apartment block that had residential houses and several small shops.

Area chief George Mayoyo confirmed the incident, adding that the cause of the fire was yet to be established.

Mayoyo said that the fire had started at around 11pm after which residents unsuccessfully attempted to stop it.
