Kamande stated that the suspects might meddle investigations if released on bail adding that the complainant had been cautioned by the suspects’ family.

Police report revealed that Mokaya had employed the 17 year old complainant who is a Ugandan citizen as a house help.

When the time to deliver came, Mokaya took her to the hospital to deliver and blackmailed her only to go into hiding with her child. The suspect later gave the complainant Sh. 1500 and sold the baby at Sh. 25,000.
