Raila's supporters headed to JKIA teargassed, gunshots fired [PHOTOS]

Raila is set to arrive at JKIA this morning.

Mr Raila Odinga supporters, who is expected to touch down at JKIA at 11 am, stationed at City Cabanas along Mombasa Road, where four barricades have been erected by the police, attempted to force their way past the antiriot officers.

On Thursday, Nairobi County Police Commandant Japheth Koome warned Raila Odinga supporters against holding a rally in the capital.

He added that the state controlled JKIA would remain out of bound for politicians and journalists, adding that the NASA leader could only be welcomed by family members.

Nasa leader Raila Odinga will be returning to Kenya today Friday after a ‘successful’ 10-day tour in the US where is has allegedly talked to key political and opinion makers on reforming Kenya’s democratic processes.
