A 25 year old man and a girl have been pulled out alive from the ruble of Tassia building which collapsed on Friday, 6th December.
The two have been rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.
Rescue operations are still underway. So far five people have been confirmed dead while 24 others are still missing.
The rescue operation is being conducted by a multi-sectoral team comprising of the Kenya Red Cross, Military, Police, St John Ambulance and County responders who are using excavators and drills to reach those that have been trapped under the rubble.
The National Disaster Management Unit and the Kenya Red Cross have since set up a command post and tent to coordinate rescue and offer support.
