A chilling video of Gaza gang leader vowing to continue with the group’s criminal exploits has surfaced online, leaving many Kenyans worried.

In the 80-seconds clip, the man who has since been identified as Seba alias Johnie who previously operated from Nairobi’s Mlango Kubwa is heard threatening to unleash a reign of terror, warning police and informants of knife attacks.

In the video below, courtesy of The Standard, Seba appears with four accomplices who vows to strangle informants and kill them.

He is also heard bragging that he is the king of crime and there is nothing the police can do and even dares security agencies to go after him.

He faults police reports linking him to robbery incidents in which he reportedly stole 42 mobile phone and clarifies that the actual number is 86- a figure much higher than 42.

Seba is joined by four accomplices who appear to be smoking what they said was ‘weed’ (Bhang) and together they dismiss claims that the group is dead.

They allege that group made a tactical retreat and the group’s leader Seba is currently in ‘school’.

Reports indicate that Gaza gang which operates from Kayole is one of the fiercest gangs in Nairobi and is behind a spate of killings and robberies in Nairobi’s Eastlands.

Their tools of trade include swords, knives and guns.

Although little is known about its operations, reports indicate that the group gave birth to Yakuza gang which controls dumpsites in Eastlands and specialises on high-end crimes such as high-way and bank robberies.

Early last year, several insecurity incidents were reported in Nairobi’s Eastlands areas with police admitting that gangs were terrorising city residents.

A crackdown was launched to restore order and security with Kayole police boss Joseph Gichangi confirming that police “have intensified patrols in the most affected areas. We are working with residents to wipe them(criminal gangs) out.”
