Mbadi asks ODM supporters to never elect these leaders from Nyanza

ODM Chairman John Mbadi has named leaders in Luo-Nyanza who should never be elected by the supporters in the region.

Mbadi stated that electing technocrats as governors in the region had led to underdevelopment in the region.

He prescribed that the residents ought to elect full time politicians instead.

"When the polls come, let us change the pattern. Let us look at the people who have fought for devolution.

"We went for managers but they have disappointed us...they have the skills to loot more than politicians," he explained.

Raphael Tuju Comments

Mbadi spoke in Rarieda constituency during the funeral of Raphael Tuju's brother, Kefa Oduor.

The Jubilee party secretary-general admonished the residents as well, referring to his tenure as an MP 2002 of the area.

"I did enough in Rarieda but you still went ahead and told me to carry away the roads were removable, I would have carried them away as I did with the mobile clinics," he stated.

Tuju added that he has been reluctant to initiate any projects in his home turf for fears that it may be interpreted as campaigns for the Siaya governorship come 2022.
