Mutahi Ngunyi: Nicholas Gumbo's PAC team attempted to bribe me
The pioneer of ‘Tyranny of Numbers’ mantra has accused the team of harboring corrupt members.

Ngunyi has claimed that the PAC demanded a Sh7.5 million bribe from him during the probe on his alleged connection with the highly touted National Youth Service scam that linked Uhuru Kenyatta’s ally Anne Waiguru.
The pioneer of ‘Tyranny of Numbers’ mantra architect through twitter account, recounted how the financial usage monitoring committee hatched a plot to have him bribe it with Sh7.5 million, a move he turned down.
“PAC is a 'FELLOWSHIP of THUGS'. A DEMAND of 7.5M was made from me. I refused. Now they want me CHARGED with Perjury,” Mutahi wrote on his Twitter account.
Mutahi Ngunyi’s sentiments comes a week after the PAC tabling a report in parliament, implicating him in a scam that saw the disappearance of Sh791 million in NYS, in which his company allegedly pocketed Sh90million of the loot.
“The Consulting House of chief Executive Officer Mutahi Ngunyi is culpable for plagiarism, perjury and willful withholding of information from the committee,” reads part of the report.
It adds: “He is therefore liable for failure to make full disclosure that he had been paid in excess of Sh100 million for other unspecified services from NYS.”
