A man in Narok has been arrested by police after killing his wife's lover in cold blood after catching them in bed

Police in Narok have arrested a 25 year old man for allegedly murdering his wife’s lover after catching them in the act on Friday night.

Reports indicate that Mathew Langat arrived home from a drinking spree on Friday night at around 10:30 and caught his 22 year-old wife Monica Chepkurui in bed with Stanley Bor.

An enraged Langat confronted his love rival before the suspect stabbed his opponent in the neck and rib area.

Area chief Paul Kirui said that an enraged Langat who was reportedly drunk at the time could not contain his anger and fiercely Bor before reaching for a Maasai sword and stabbing him in the neck and thorax.

The deceased sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Tenwek Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

His body was moved the the health facility’s morgue with police launching investigations into the incident.

Langat’s wife Chepkurui who was at the center of the drama was arrested alongside her husband.
