KCSE Candidate commits suicide after receiving results

The student had just received her results when she decided to take her life.

The student identified as Carren Ouma jumped into a borehole where she died.

She had just received her results where she scored an average grade of C - (minus).

It is reported that the student was forced to repeat her KCSE after getting the same grade.

After working hard and obtaining the same grade, Ouma got furious and jumped into the well.

The results revealed a worrying decline in number of students who have qualified to join university.

At the same time, CS Matiangi announced the government had withheld KCSE results from 10 schools in the country until January pending investigations into alleged exam irregularities.
