4 tough assignments given to team implementing directive that has caused division in Jubilee

Team reports directly to the president and will implement the directive that has caused division in Jubilee

A team has been put in place to lead the current war against corruption and is tasked with implementing various directives including those that have caused division in Jubilee.

According to the Saturday Standard, the Multi-Agency Task Team (MATT) is tasked with carrying out a comprehensive lifestyle audit on all state officers that has caused jitters among some Jubilee Party leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto.

It has also been mandated to ensure that assets and accounts of those found guilty of corruption are frozen as the state steps up efforts to recover public funds lost to corruption.

Prosecution of suspects implicated in corruption scandals is another task assigned to the team as President Kenyatta seeks to cement his legacy in the wake of runaway corruption in government.
