Why Raila will miss Matiba's funeral service today

Memorial is ongoing at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi

Odinga will miss the service as he is in attending the Devolution Conference in Kakamega where he will deliver a keynote address.

Among leaders who have already arrived at the All Saints Cathedral include NASA principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, former lady First Mama Ngina Kenyatta, former President Mwai Kibaki, among other members of the first family.

It is not clear if Odinga will attend the second funeral service for Matiba that is expected to take place tomorrow (Thursday) at General Ihura Stadium in Murang'a.
