President Uhuru Kenyattas nominee for ambassadorial position John Okuna Ogango on Monday turned down the position citing personal reasons.
Ogango declined to be vetted by parliamentary committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, citing personal reasons.
He is the second person to turn down an ambassadorial position after nomination by the President.
The President's former Legal advisor Abdikadir Mohamed, had earlier turned down the position of Kenya's Ambassador to South Korea after being nominated by President Kenyatta.
