Kalonzo issues powerful statement after Supreme Court ruling

The NASA co-principal made his first comment on the repeat Kenyan election

The Wiper Party leader took to his Twitter page where he stated that the only possible way to effect change was through a free and fair election.

“Only true change can come through a free and fair credible electoral process,” Musyoka tweeted.

The former Vice President appeared to be reinforce NASA’s position which stated that President Kenyatta’s election lacked legitimacy, despite being upheld by the apex court.

Musyoka spoke two days after the Supreme Court upheld Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory in the repeat election.

The NASA leader has maintained loud silence in the past two months since he flew abroad to tend to his wife who is undergoing treatment in Germany.

The only public statement Musyoka had made since then was a condolence message after the death of Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru.
