Bob Godec lands in big trouble, days after Donald Trump replaced him

Unlucky man?

Outgoing US Ambassador to Kenya Bob Godec on Thursday found himself in deep trouble after he attempted to defend his tenure during an interview with a local radio station.

Godec was interviewed on Radio Jambo where he explained his achievements during his term of five and a half years as US Ambassador to Kenya.

The envoy was, however, faced with a backlash after numerous callers at the station accused him of bias and incompetence.

One of the callers accused Godec of turning ablind eye when the Jubilee government deployed police officers to harass and maim Opposition supporters.
