The photo was taken by the Star’s Hezron Njoroge before a press briefing by President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta on August 14.

Many people felt that it was not right for her male bodyguard to carry her bag as even German Chancellor Angela Merkel carries her own bag.

Others felt that there was nothing wrong with her bodyguard carrying her handbag while others felt that Kenyan’s should concentrate on nation building activities instead of on focusing on Sicily and her handbag-carrying bodyguard.

Well as Kenyans caused a huge fuss over her handbag the CS was at the famous Marikiti Market for clean-up exercise and also took time out to speak to traders in the market.

"My team, together with NYS officers as well as community youth will be engaged in a clean-up exercise of the market. “It is important that the business environment in one of Nairobi's biggest market is improved. " She stated as she flagged off the exercise.
