Some people may realize that they are headed in an unhealthy route but they may never be too sure if it is actually burn out or if they are simply tired.
WebMD uses the PAINT acronym to help discover whether one is burnt out or not.
You experience physical pain such as headaches, stomach aches or even muscle aches.
You are always feeling angry and irritable even when you do not need to
You have lost motivation or interest in what you are currently doing.
You are always negative in every aspect of your life. You are cynical and pessimistic about everything.
This refers to your physical and emotional state.
What to do if you feel you are burnt out
According to WebMD, these are some solutions to battling burn out.
1.Sleep; abide by a regular sleeping schedule.
2.Exercise; set aside at least 30 minutes every day to exercise.
3.Socialize; Go out with friends and family that you haven’t seen in a while.
4.Nutrition; make sure you eat right which may involve cutting down on harmful foods such as processed foods and dairy.
