President William Ruto and first lady Mama Rachel Ruto are celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary, with the celebrations coinciding with the president’s 58th birthday.
First Lady took to social media on Saturday, December 21, 2024 with a heartwarming message in which he celebrated the President as husband and father to their children.
Mama Rachel heaped praises on Ruto who she described as a special gift from God, a devoted husband and father.
Happy birthday, my dear Bill! As we celebrate your special day and our wedding anniversary, I am grateful to God for the special gift you are to us. Your devotion as a husband and father is an incredible blessing to us all.

Observing that their wedding anniversary also coincides with Ruto’s birthday, she further wished the president happiness, good health and the fulfilment of his dreams for the country writing:

The President and the First Lady walked down the aisle on Dec 21, 1991.
Ruto was 25 years old at the time and was a young aspiring politician who would win a seat in parliament a year later.
