Talk about goals; She had always been the chubby, lovable and bubbly woman who charmed her way into her listeners’ hearts with her bright personality and witty conversations. For over ten years, Kalyeke Mumo was the big girl with the voice for Kiss Fm Drive show alongside the ever controversial, high profile events’ host and media personality, Shaffie Weru. However, in less than a year, Kalekye Mumo has transformed into a whole different woman.

Her 40 birthday last year marked the beginning of her transformation when she finally revealed just how much weight she had lost after six months of healthy living. Her new looks and confession for the love of fitness saw her start a campaign dubbed #themeIwant that was highly embraced by a lot of Kenyans from the onset. Still, no one was ready for her resignation from radio.

In July 2016 Kenyans woke up to the heart breaking news that the radio sweetheart had kissed goodbye her post and was working on her personal projects. After ten years as the host for the evening drive she upped and left and started her own Youtube channel for her campaign, a decision that her fans were skeptical about but hey, baby girl had a plan.

Indeed she did. Early this year, after months of media hiatus, she made a comeback as a host for local TV station K24’s Talk Central replacing TV pundit and total hotty Eric Njoka. While her presence is refreshing, it’s completely human to get distracted by her stunning beauty and her rocking sense of style. From body con dresses to maxis for the weekend it seems Kalekye is not afraid to experiment fashion with her new body. We can’t just get enough of her new fashion.
