Reggae fans disappointed after reggae show goes up in smoke

The show will take place on 20th April

On April 14, 2018 Reggae fans were disappointed after the Eric Donaldson reggae concert went up in smoke without a clear explanation.

Jamaican reggae icon Eric Donaldson failed to entertain reggae enthusiasts at a massive reggae concert at KICC Nairobi, after his show was postponed at last minute.

According to the organizers of the event, the ongoing Home expo at KICC, affected their schedule, forcing them to change the date of the event to Friday, April 20.

Emerging reports indicated that the Home Expo, extended their stay at KICC by one day hence making it difficult for Reggae Lovers to be allowed to use the same venue.

Reggae enthusiasts who turned up for the event were advised by the police officers manning the KICC buildings that the management had informed them that the reggae concert had been cancelled.

The reggae event was expected to feature The Dons and Reggae 5 band that includes Nazizi, Kenya's self-proclaimed "First Lady" of reggae.

Donaldson is known for hits such as Cherry Oh Baby, Land of My Birth, Traffic Jam, Lonely Nights, You Got to Let Me Go, Rock me Gently and Come Away.

Eric Donaldson is also expected to perform in Kampala Uganda on April 22, in an event dubbed 'All Day Reggae Festival' at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.
