NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga surprised KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo when she hosted him on The Friday Briefing show.
Raila who is known for his love of music, sang to Kyallo a popular Jamaican ballad that sent the KTN news anchor into laughter.
The NASA leader sang the Swahili version of “ Jamaica Farewell” by the Harry Belafonte during the interview at Nairobi’s Safari Park Hotel.
Raila was not shy to express his love for music as he fondly sang a verse of the Jamaican-style folk song about the beauties of the West Indian Islands that was later on translated into a Swahili version by the legendary Fadhili Williams and also songstress Mirriam Makeba.

During the show, the NASA leader was presented a portrait of himself by artist Onkendi as he urged Kenyans to maintain peace before, during and after the August 8 elections.
"I wish my brother Uhuru Kenyatta all the best in his campaigns. If he beats me I will congratulate him. If I beat him, he should congratulate me, but we will remain friends," Raila said.
