Dates for 2018 KCSE and KCPE revealed

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has revealed dates for this year’s KCPE and KCSE examinations.

A look at the timetables posted on the KNEC website shows that this year’s KCPE exams will start on October 30 to November 1.

On the other hand, KCSE examinations will commence on November 2 to November 28, 2018.

For KCPE, all candidates will begin with Mathematics, Mathematics (Large Print) and Mathematics (Braille) which would begin at 8.30 am on Tuesday of October 31.

Social Studies R.E, Social Studies and R.E (Large Print) and Social Studies and R.E (Braille), which all will start at 8.30 am, will close the three-day exercise on November 1 for the KCPE candidates.

On the other hand, KCSE examinations for all students will begin on November 2 with rehearsals, while instructional materials for practical subjects (Biology, Chemistry and Physics among others) would be opened a week later, on November 8.

The candidates will usher a new week of November 5 with Mathematics Paper One (all cadres) in the morning and later have Chemistry Paper One in the afternoon.

Computer Studies, Business Studies among other subjects would come on the last day of the practice, on November 28, at 10.0am.

Meanwhile, project-related subjects (such as Agriculture, Music and Computer) whose projects examinations started in January are underway.
