An administration police officer attached to a senior official at the office of the President was on Monday morning shot.
The bodyguard was hit by unknown gunmen who fled the scene after the incident.
He was the the driver of State House Administrative Secretary John Makumi
According to emerging reports, the incident happened in Ruai where he was going to pick his boss.

The officer was badly injured and is currently admitted to a Nairobi hospital, where he is receiving treatment.
